That's so New York - Although street-style photography is somewhat of a increasing interest of mine (meaning that I haven't yet managed to force myself out of the house to snap some images for myself, and instead spend my days flicking through a series of street-style blogs, day dreaming that one day I could be half the photographer the majority of these guys/girls are) I've already began picking out my favorites in regards to blogs which I would happily flick back to on a daily if not minutely

That's So New York - Okay, so i'll admit it; I'm obsessed, obsessed with YoungJun Koo. Let me rephrase; I have developed an addiction admiration for the work of blogger, YoungJun Koo and his street style photography blog, I'M KOO. As YoungJun is situated in New York, of-course as expected his photography consists of simple snap shots of various trendy personas, first presenting us with an image of the entire outfit, and then focusing in on particular
That's So New York - After reading a wonderful post by Barbro Andersen yesterday titled Boys, boys, boys I was introduced to Oslo, Norway-based fashion and portrait photographer,Solveig Selj. With being just as attracted to photography as I am writing, obviously I couldn't help but inquire in regards to a link which would take me over to the official Solveig Selj website, which Barbro kindly provided. As I ventured on over to the Solveig Selj website, I was graced by the likes of two rather full
That's So New York - In addition to my rather recent musical phase which involved me spending hours flicking through the music section of Myspace on the lookout for some new and exciting bands/vocalists which I could use to rejuvenate my slightly dated library (music library) with, I have also taken admiration in constantly flicking through a wide selection of blogs and digital magazines and posting frivolously in the comments box; despite the fact that this is most probably something I should h
Model castings are one of the most important parts of a fashion or beauty photography editorial or print advertising campaign. Those of you having to have cast for a job probably understand how complicated the whole affair can be.
Casting protocol and logistics are changing all of the time and the necessity to see a model in the flesh so to speak is less important than most of you might think.
Highly evolved interne
Danish photographer Torkil Gudnason has compiled an exciting portfolio throughout his years of shooting for some of the most prestigious brands and fashion publication. According to the photographer, the excitement of not knowing how the capture is going to turn out is his driving force behind his artistic pursuits.
I stumbled upon this photographer, Zena Holloway, who shoots images underwater. I have seen this attempted on an episode of America’s Next Top Model but I was blown away by these images. I cannot even begin to image the work required to capture such images and the difficulty of them. They must be acknowledged and appreciated. Check out the link to the rest of the images.
Flair Magazine’s April 2011 photo-shoot consisted of these absolutely stunning black and white images.
Modeled by Denisa Dvorakova and photographed by Jean Francois Campos. Makeup by Ralph Sicliano highlights model’s features and give a dramatic look to the eyes.
I am wondering how much is natural and how much of this is Photoshop but either way, we love it.
My favorite… everything about this image is absolutely perfect!

Saturday night was one great fashion show that we attended in such a long time! The collections were FABULOUS and jaw-dropping, we had such an amazing time viewing the collections strutting down therunway. The runway and Opera House was a perfect mix for the theme. PARK 2011 did a great job organizing and advertising for this event. It looked like about 400 or more attended, the room got more full by the minute. The runway was set up like the letter, “L” giving more people chances to view the c

Armoire started purely with the vision to engineer the perfect dress – timeless n’ versatile.
The whimsical idea was inspired from trips ranging from the Far East to Milan. Scouring the vintage markets in Sydney and Melbourne for inspiring pieces. Sinking into the variety of fabric, the collections are coming together to contain show stopping dresses, a selection of daywear, signature dresses, using exclusively imported fabric.
