With her degree in Accessory Design from Italy's Domus Academy and Bachelor in Graphic Design at American University in Beirut, Margherita (Ghita) Abi-Hanna launched her own line of leather accessories and jewelry. Her self-named brand Margherita strives to create unique, bold and architectural designs, for the most part carefully hand-crafted by Lebanese artisans.
A few weeks ago I was approached by THREAD on Grandview, a specialty boutique located right here in our great city. They ask me to choose a week of ensembles and model them too! What fun!

Wondering where I've been?
No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I was in NYC for my friend Alexis Wilson's book signing for 'Not So Black and White' at The James Hotel. Truly a grand event attended by actress Tamara Tunie and Blair Underwood among many other stars from Broadway and the arts. I had a blast!

Yesterday I got to spend some quality time with a friend who also just happens to design some pretty chic clothes. Genoveva Christoff first caught my eye 2 years ago when I was writing an article on her. I stopped mid-writing to contact her and she ended up making me a custom piece.
Genoveva first showed in CMH Fashion Week's Finale Show, then was hand picked by Barney's Simon Doonan to show in NY at Lincoln Center's Diet Pepsi Style Studio show in 2012.
