Summer is often the most popular season to hold a wedding so it is no surprise if you have been invited to one or two that are approaching in the next couple of months. Wondering where I've been?
No I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I was in NYC for my friend Alexis Wilson's book signing for 'Not So Black and White' at The James Hotel. Truly a grand event attended by actress Tamara Tunie and Blair Underwood among many other stars from Broadway and the arts. I had a blast!

Anastasia Lomonova / Spring 2012

That's so New YorkOnce again, multiple designers have been shelling out with kind emails and sending across images from their soon to be launched collections. In this case, we have Anasasia Lomonova, a designer who is originally from Ukraine, Europe yet after the collapse of the USSR she then went onto relocate to Cyprus with her family and now resides over in Canada after training as a visual artist and specializing in oil painting, later moving on and attending Ryerson University, Canada. Maria Lau / Autumn 2011

That's so New YorkGuess what? London-based jewelry designer, Maria Lau has only gone and sent across a selection of images from her Autumn/Winter 2011 collection; that of which she has titled Two Planets, following on from her Spring/Summer 2011 collection which snatched the same titled, yet a completely different concept.
I mean, how nice of her was that?

Natalie B Coleman

That's So New YorkEarlier this week I was speaking with Dublin, Ireland-based designer Natalie B Coleman and after agreeing to an interview (that of which will I will present to you all mid-week), Natalie was kind enough to send across a selection of images from her Spring/Summer 2012 collection; that of which she has titled All the Jewellery I never Got Pt.2, following on from Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, which you may have guessed followed the same title of All the Jewellery I never Got.

'Two Planets' by Maria Lau

That's So New YorkSince my Ax+Apple post around two weeks ago, my admiration for jewelry has heightened; I mean, the search for admirable jewelry designers has even managed to snatch itself a place on my "to do" list. Although I usually tend to hunt for the international among the local, recently I've come across a designer who is both local and international, meaning that the her London location would be considered local (seeming that London central is around forty/fifty minutes from me) yet

Heidi Mottram: Part One of Two

That's So New YorkI'm not usually one for rather basic "I like this bag; that's all" type posts, as I'm sure the majority of you know I can talk for England and frequently tend to ramble on for two or three paragraphs as I introduce a label, the said labels background and go onto introduce an entire collection, followed by six or seven reasonably large images of that particular collection, yet recently I've began admiring the scrapbook-type format which I have seen in use on a handful of addi

This weekend was awesome! On Friday I partied with my friends and met Tini and Jason from H.O.W.L. (OMG I love their work!) and none other than Carmindy from TLC's "What Not To Wear", she is as sweet and beautiful as she is on the show (and I couldn't stop thinking about my make-up and hoping my mascara wasn't all runny). On Saturday I worked all day long on a very special "Style Hunter" project (that I am sure you are going to love) and on Sunday I spent the day celebrating with my dad and of c
