For all the confusion, various levels of organization, and free cocktails, lasts year’s Fashion’s Night Out was, by any measure, a success—particularly considering it was the first year of questionable purpose an event involving dozens upon dozens of stores, hundreds of brands, and thousands of attendees spread
hither and yon across New York City. Personally, we dug it. Now, this of September 10th it’s back for more. Brace yourself!

For the next few months, New York City’s Midtown will have a few new residents on its sidewalk– 32 to be exact. The Fashion Center’s Sidewalk Catwalk opened just yesterday featuring 32 mannequins decorated by some of city’s top fashion designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Betsey Johnson, Badgley Mischka, Thom Browne, Jason Wu, and many more. Yes, you’re probably asking yourself, “what took her so long?”, or “didn’t she do that already?” But still, surprising no one, delighting many, and possibly annoying a few, the semi-controversial boho stylist to the stars and reality-television doyenne Rachel Zoe announced through WWD today that indeed, she will be launching her own clothing line in late 2011 called, appropriately, “The Rachel Zoe Collection”.
