That's so New York - Thanks to the wonderful invention that is email and "subscribe" options on various online-stores, this afternoon I received an email from Alex and Chloe which bombarded me with various discounts across the Alex and Chloe store. Brands which have happily slipped themselves into the sale include the likes of Cheap Monday, Obesity and Speed and The Local Firm, followed by a selection of own-label items from Alex and Chloe; including a series of items from my favorite collection

That's so New York - Guess what? London-based jewelry designer, Maria Lau has only gone and sent across a selection of images from her Autumn/Winter 2011 collection; that of which she has titled Two Planets, following on from her Spring/Summer 2011 collection which snatched the same titled, yet a completely different concept.
I mean, how nice of her was that?

That's so New York - Once again, I managed to leave you hanging for a more than respectable amount of time; I mean, I think it was early last week when I first started bragging about this interview with designer, Natalie Coleman of NATALIEBCOLEMAN which I was hoping to present to you towards the end of last week at the latest, yet once again college took it's toll and my late-afternoon naps set in; basically? I'm sure it's not a surprise when I say, it didn't get done, alright? (note my attitude
That's So New York - From the various thoughts which have been rushing through my head over the course of the past day or two alone, I think it's safe to say that the simple things in life certainly seem to be pleasing me a little more frequently than usual; all I can assume is that my brain has decided that college is a little too strenuous and persnickety items which hold large amounts of detail are too much for it to process. The result? My mind is becoming more and more attracted to restrict
That's so New York - Yesterday evening, the wonderful people over at We Are Selecters were kind enough to send across the look book for their Fall/Winter 2011 collection; that of which has been titled "Escape". After experiencing sheer amounts of joy after flicking through the images, I thought that it would be best to "share" these images with you. See, how nice am I?

That's So New York - Earlier this week I was speaking with Dublin, Ireland-based designer Natalie B Coleman and after agreeing to an interview (that of which will I will present to you all mid-week), Natalie was kind enough to send across a selection of images from her Spring/Summer 2012 collection; that of which she has titled All the Jewellery I never Got Pt.2, following on from Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, which you may have guessed followed the same title of All the Jewellery I never Got.

That's So New York - So it turns out that I've just had an epiphany and I'm going to go all crazy on community and other stuff like that; notice my casual tone and the voice in my head that's screaming "You only sleep four hours per night, what on earth are your thinking in that monotonous teenage brain of yours!" (All I can say is thank the lord that I'm not rambling on about rainbows and ponies and how hot Robert Pattinson looks in that brand new Tw
That's So New York - Despite the fact that I currently have an interview with Finnish designer, Daniel Palillo in my mitts waiting for me to press that publish button, I feel that it may have seemed a little odd if I had posted an interview with a designer before introducing you all to that said designer. The reason behind my decision is primarily due to the fact that Daniel Palillo is still what you may consider to be anacquired taste when it comes to the wear ability of a number of his garment
That's So New York - Those of you who follow my Facebook page may recall me mentioning an upcoming interview with Finnish designer, Daniel Palillo; despite the fact that it has taken me more than a respectable amount of time to jot everything up, I do finally have the interview ready for a read. The answers are a tad short, yet Daniel explained at the very beginning of the interview "We in Finland don't talk that much", therefore i'll let him off, as the answers he provided me with were more tha
I’m here today to report all the latest and big events that are currently occuring on our end. Oh boy, are they big. Huge, actually! Monday it was a bright sunny late summer day here in Berlin and we got to shoot our very first (one of many more to come) promotional campaign. Lucky much?
A stressful yet exciting day was coming our way and even with all the last minute changes, we made it through the wild! It was nonstop walk-around, posing, testing, light check, make-up and hair from 9h to 19h an

That's So New York - Okay, so i'll admit it; I'm obsessed, obsessed with YoungJun Koo. Let me rephrase; I have developed an addiction admiration for the work of blogger, YoungJun Koo and his street style photography blog, I'M KOO. As YoungJun is situated in New York, of-course as expected his photography consists of simple snap shots of various trendy personas, first presenting us with an image of the entire outfit, and then focusing in on particular
That's So New York - From the title of this post alone, those of you who follow my Facebook page would have guessed that this is the post I gave you a heads up on over the weekend, after receiving my Dan Monick Blind Bargain Bag (Retail Price: $30.00 USD) from Blood Is The New Black, which I have to say I was extremely impressed with. For those of you who are unaware what a Blind Bargain Bag is, let me explain. Blood Is The New Black (the graphic label I have been rambling on about for far too l
That's So New York - Okay, so it's official, I survived my first day of college; I have to say, I'm not exactly overjoyed. A summary of the day? I walked around the majority of the time on my own as it seemed that everyone, everywhere was reluctant to spark up a conversation with me. I won't point fingers, yet in my opinion it's a little rude to ignore someone when they casually slip out a "Hello" (let me verify that I was the one being ignored; oh, how I wish it was the other way round). I neve
That's So New York - The majority of you may have noticed that over the course of the past week or so, I haven't exactly been consistent in regards to my posting schedule; my reason? I have been enjoying the last week or so of my Summer holidays, as I will of-course be starting College this coming Tuesday. The thought that I have now spent almost twelve years of my life in education seems a little absurd, yet is it paying off? I have to say, yes; simply due to the fact that I received my results

That's So New York - Despite the fact that the majority of you will be aware that Style Rookie blogger, Tavi Gevinson has launched her very own online-magazine, I thought I'd throw around this notification-type post a little, just in-case you have been trapped in a well for the past week or so, or even been living in some sort of cave on the top of a mountain where internet access isn't exactly viable (then again, with the amount of wires and things around nowadays, I thi
That's So New York - Despite the fact that it was just days ago I mentioned Venice Rish of Venice Jewellery and how much I admired the label as a whole, I couldn't help but throw around a handful of additional images from Venice's Mini's collection which I was presented with just recently. There is something about stick figures in love which manages to give me butterfly's inside ...
Admittedly, all of the items from the Mini's collection are not currently available for purchase, yet I can offer a
That's So New York - As Elizabeth Lau begins gearing herself up in preparation for the showing of her Spring/Summer 2012 look book video tomorrow (18/09/2011) in London Fashion Week's very own cinema, it seems she got a little too excited and was kind enough to share a premiere of the video via her Facebook page this morning. I can confidentially say that this is certainly yet another promised success for Elizabeth and might have just ... (CONTINUE READING)
That's So New York - It didn't take me too long to hunt down a second fashion industry-related interviewee after my first interview post which featured a a handful of questions by yours truly, followed by a selection of answers courtesy of ICU - IN PARIS.COM Owner/Founder Christan Summers. Despite the fact that the opportunity to sit down and talk with Mitra Khayyam, Owner/Founder of Blood Is The New Black via Skype was not available (due to the fact that Mitra is presumably an extremely busy wo
