Well, I learned a few valuable things this week. First and foremost, the universe taught me that you must always dress for any occasion. As an intern, you never know where life—or t

Whether you’re wearing it or just staring (don’t worry, we won’t tell), everyone loves a good suit. But a glimpse of the artistry behind suit tailoring is as rare as a cobalt-blue three-piece bespoke outfit from Savile Row. The soon-to-be-released documentary Men of the Cloth, however, gets behind the scenes (or seams) of this time-honored craft by following three Italian custom tailoring gurus at the peak of their powers.

For the next few months, New York City’s Midtown will have a few new residents on its sidewalk– 32 to be exact. The Fashion Center’s Sidewalk Catwalk opened just yesterday featuring 32 mannequins decorated by some of city’s top fashion designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Betsey Johnson, Badgley Mischka, Thom Browne, Jason Wu, and many more. We took a trip to the heart of the Garment District to visit New York City’s latest public art exhibition, which extends from Herald Square to 42nd St

Welcome to Monday! How’s that hangover working for you? To ease you into
the workweek we’ve cribbed this laid-back, laconic video from Style.com’s Style File blog of the pre-show preparations for Coach Creative Director Reed Krakoff’s namesake line. Shot in February by longtime Krakoff collaborator and all-around supertalent Steven Sebring, it’s not your typical New York Fashion Week behind-the-scenes snapshot.

Seems the Fashion-Week stalwart Mr. Mickey is just as confused about all these damned collections as we are. At least he’s man enough to admit it. “There’s all these things, and honestly, I’m a knucklehead and never know what I’m looking at, or when it’s in stores or when it should be shot.” [The Cut]http://www.afingo.com/blogs/uncategorized/%E2%80%9Ci-never-know-if-it%E2%80%99s-fall-or-spring-and-just-to-throw-resort-in-it%E2%80%99s-such-an-added-complication-and-then-pre-fall-paper-magazine-cr
