I was foruntate enough to be invited to the Mr and Mrs Runway UK , I spent most of the time back stage, and boy was it meyhem .. chaos is not the word, it was disorgansided models didn't know what they were wearing, shoes didn't fit
and models had hair cut or added frustrating some of the designers who had fitted models days before
sounds real negative right ....... WRONG
This event was one of the best fashion event i have been to it a long time ... on the stage the models where so professional....

If you’re anything like us, you associate the early part of September with the madness of New York Fashion Week. Oh, but September is so much much than that fast-paced, magazine editor and celeb filled event that takes up just over one week out of the month. But just over the pond, there’s another– and some would argue better– runway explosion: London Fashion Week. And, wouldn’t you know it, LFW’s schedule just debuted.

Baryeh is offering up-and-coming designers who wish to showcase their collections the opportunity to have their own official off-schedule show during LFW at Islington Metal Works between September 16-18th.

WWD recently discussed the high—and widespread— demand for couture, and we found their tactics to be…well, really interesting. Forget your prototypical snobby reputation of the high-end fashion world—because these houses are going miles (literally) for their clients.
For the next few months, New York City’s Midtown will have a few new residents on its sidewalk– 32 to be exact. The Fashion Center’s Sidewalk Catwalk opened just yesterday featuring 32 mannequins decorated by some of city’s top fashion designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Betsey Johnson, Badgley Mischka, Thom Browne, Jason Wu, and many more.
