To briefly summarize my thoughts about this collection; my ideal line for Spring 2011. This line perfectly describes what I have been trying to illustrate in previous blog posts, for what I think would be a likely line to show up on the streets during Spring 2011. The first two images of this post resemble the long skirt look that I blogged about being one of a my favorite trends. To say the least I was very pleased with Michael Kors.

Roberto Cavalli makes us more than well aware of the importance of fringe for spring 2011. Throughout his ready-to-wear collection, if something was not fringed, it was not on the runway. Cavalli takes the art of fringing and makes this own. We are usedto seeing the fringed bags, fringed necklines and fringed hemlines, but fringe all over an entire dress defies the laws of fringe and reconstructs them. In an odd way they remind me of 1920's flapper dresses which adds to my love for his fringes f

After NYFW is over, now is the time to choose our best top looks from the all shows:

1. Bucker : Like the whole clean cut.

3. Tommy Hilfiger: Modern American Classic Collection.

5. Band of The Outsiders: Great Sportwear Collection.

Steven Cox and Daniel Silver's Collection fulled of prints (check out that leopard print), neon colour, and oversized jacket/shirt. It is nice to see something unconventional, but does it wearable? Only the brave one who can wear those prints or turbans (it is fresh to see on boys head) without being the spotlight!!

The most wearable piece in my mind are those gray suite and the brown shoes are just great!!

Even With only 2 or 3 basic colours, Elie Tahari could made a great men's collection for this spring 2011. Some people may say it is a boring collection, but wait till you see the whole collection. The clean cut n the earth colour (alot of soft brown, gray, and a pop of blue) still can be wearing over and over again for a long time. The best accesory? The brown shoe is the timeless piece!!

Billy Reid was one the many designer who open the first day of New York Fashion Week (9 Sept' 2010). Inspired by his hometown Louisiana, this spring collection is all about semi formal /preppy look. Rolled up pants, vintage inspired suspender, classic cardigan, and tennis shoe, it feels like back to college in 50 or 60's with a litte modern twist.
