Haute Couture only comes twice a year and is only shown in Paris. It is a rare bird indeed and thus is taken very seriously by those in the metier. It is akin to Formula 1 Racing or the Paris Le Salon de l'Auto where prototypes are shown and dreamt upon by the multitude of onlookers.

Its always exciting to begin a new venture. You go through the jubilation at the thought of the venture being successful...and the nervousness to go along with the 'what ifs.' But I've always come back to the jubilation aspect of it because the idea of success overrides any negative in my mind.
