The Grand Palais in Paris throbbed to Donna Summer’s 1977 disco hit ‘I Feel Love’ as two models strutted down the catwalk, one in a classic black Chanel boucle tweed skirt suit, the other in the same ensemble in white.

From the neck down, they were a picture of timeless elegance – if only the sinister robot masks didn’t make them look like extras from Star Wars.

Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s octogenarian creative director is famous for his catwalk shows. Even by the standard

She has stars in her eyes. Yeah, the twinkle of a thousand stars. And the sparkle of a newbie, even after a smashing debut down South and a string of Bollywood films in the last decade. A week before her next release, 'Tum Bin 2', an all-heart romantic film, she sits daintily for a long chat. Behind all that petite prettiness is a girl with steely resolve, who without batting her long lashes, says, "I don't want someone else to be the God of my life." Well yes, her films haven't struck gold at t

To show cleavage or not, that’s the question. It’s not, or at least that’s what the December issue of British Vogue magazine says. The writer, Kathleen Baird-Murray, stated in the article titled Desperately Seeking Cleavage: “The cleavage – those magnificent mounds pushed together to display sexual empowerment, to seduce, to inspire lust or even just to show off – is over, or at least, taking a well-earned break.”

While trends indicate that the internationally fashi

How to Make Your Fast Fashion Last

From an environmental, ethical, and even artistic perspective, fast fashion as an industry is problematic; that’s a fact. But while it’s easy to point a finger at the companies mass-producing inexpensive designs, many of these issues also stem from customers who buy and then discard them at an alarmingly rapid rate.

According to the fashion documentary The True Cost, the world now consumes 80 billion pieces of clothing per year; meanwhile, the average American annually generates 82 pounds of text

Beyond the neon runes

Derval O'Rourke
(Photo:bridesmaid dresses australia)

As someone who has, on occasion, found himself in the midst of an online spat, I take great pleasure in watching other people engage in a bout of virtual fisticuffs.

It’s entertainment on a nuclear level, ‘close the curtains, dim the lights’ kinda fun.

And if the people in question happen to be famous? Pass me the popcorn, baby.

Whether Derval O’Rourke or Paul Kimmage can be classed as famous is up for debate, but they both have enough Twitter followers to ensure

"Rather than get handfuls of conditioner and throw it on the head and the roots, get a sensible amount and put it where it's needed, which is on the ends working

Designer’s Naked Gown for Brave Brides Only

Some brides-to-be envision their wedding gown as their one chance to go for abundant layers of giant skirts and undergarments, enjoying the frills of an old-time princess. Others are eyeing the exact opposite, particularly if they plan on taking inspiration from Bridal Fashion Week 2017, during which Israeli designer Alon Livné White sent a model down the runway in a bejeweled nude bodysuit and a wide-open hint of a skirt. Some compare the look to that of a Las Vegas showgirl, but it’s also comp
