After being caught up in the hustle and bustle of a packed work schedule for three months, I finally had time to sit down and post up my visit to Viniga back in March. From a workshop to a retail store, the launch of its first stand-alone boutique this year has witnessed not only the uplifting growth of the brand but also the founder's uncompromising faith in and passion for exploring timeless style. No one understands Coco Chanel's famous quote “fashion fades, only style remains the same” better than Brigitte da Silva, South African-born Hong Kong designer and the creative mind behind Viniga. The modern sales floor with walls painted creamy white stocked with her signature little black dresses and a full range of evergreen wardrobe essentials subtly embellished with delicate yet luxurious details for both women and men embraces and celebrates an elegant and classy chic vibe.
If you happen to be in town, do drop by and shop the latest spring/summer 16 collection that just hit the shelves (look for Szabotage's street graffiti, the entrance is right next to it). You won't be disappointed if you're looking to style yourself with versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down effortlessly for any occasion.
