I was privileged to be invited to the JantaminiauHaute Couture Fall Winter 2012-2013 show in Paris over the Haute Couture Collections period in July. What an incredible show it was. Jan's work was Jaw Dropping amazing and if you thought last years show was spectacular, this year was beyond believable. His sense of design, architecture and understanding of textile structural integrity is uncanny. In my opinion, he is a born intuitive.

When Henrik Vibskov begins creating a new collection, he claims to invent a new universe. His most recent genesis has its foundations in a theme intimately tied to spring and summer: agriculture. The most apparent reference came in the form of a pulsing, amorphous pink-inflatable that alluded to passion fruit. Last night Versace kicked off Paris Couture Week with a stunning collection. Beautifully constructed and designed with the Atelier’s signature touches and elaborate silhouettes have definitely set the standard for what is yet to come this week.

Music and art seem to go hand with avant-garde designer Mihara Yasuhiro. Last year he featured "Samurai" guitarist Miyavi as a backdrop to his Fall & Winter 2012 collection. This year, a painter whimsically played to Mihara Yasuhiro's color palette that reminded one of a mix of resort gone utilitarian. With deep rich cerulean blues, corals and khakis grounded with dark details in black, Yasuhiro's designs are relaxed but still edgy. Mandarin collared jackets, suits contrasted with leather, shor

What item of clothing other than the T-shirt holds such an essential place in a wardrobe of a man, whatever his age, nationality, job, style, country or favourite hobby? No other! From this observation, Kris Van Assche has created a 2013 Spring-Summer collection that plays with the status of this basic item. From this concept, were born hybrid clothes mixing city and sports, with a twist that recalls the very first KVA collections.
