Finding anything from Yohji Yamamoto is rewarding enough let me tell you and its far and few between that I do actually find the Y-3 label in thrift stores. As I scan the clothes in thrift stores my eyes are always centered on the label, it is the very first thing I see when I thrift, so when I spotted the Y-3 I knew instantly the treasure I had found. Since 2002, Y-3 has pushed the boundaries of fashion and sport, exploring an intriguing intersection between STYLE & athleticism and initiating new dialogues between the people on the runway and the players on the field. Fusing the avant-garde aesthetic of renowned Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto with the breakthrough technologies of Adidas, Y-3 has defined an entirely new category within fashion, composed of equal parts luxury, STYLE, wit, craftsmanship & forward thinking design. That’s why I love this label and Yohji Yamamoto…. I wish I could give you more information about who Claude Rosbach is but I wasn’t able to Google anything of importance about this brand. Being the tag hag that I am I got this gray skirt because of course because of the cut and design but most importantly because it said made in Paris France on the label. I know I’m such a snob for clothes from France & Italy…. This ensemble has a sporty approach to the fast pace of life so strap yourself in and enjoy the ride of life ! Stop by doubletake boutique when you are in Atlanta. Toodles for now. Daniel your luxury curator!
