Some lady had to help me scoop up my jaw because it was on the floor after I saw the label on the black skirt….Celine… believe me it isn’t everyday that I run across this luxurious French brand inside a thrift store…  Just like the top made by Walking Art from Australia, you don’t find that brand everyday, every week or month for that matter.  Let me start with the top by Walking Art which is a company from Australia that utilizes famous artist prints and applies them to women’s clothing.    Their clothing is not only meant to be fashionable but also easy to wear bring designed with a flair for STYLE as well as comfort.   Now for the skirt by Celine…  Phoebe Philo in 2008 became creative director, her previous job was creative director for Chloe…  Celine was originally launched in 1945 as a children’s made-to-measure shoe business , the French house luxury house expanded during the 60′s.   Michael Kors took over the reins after Madame Celine Vipiana left in 1997 until 2004.  This is one of my favorite French fashion houses because when you turn their pieces inside out to dissect you will only find superb tailoring.   So now you know why my jaw dropped…. A little something from down under with a worldly French fashion house is surely something to get excited over.  Stop by doubletake my social media driven boutique in Atlanta and follow me on Twitter & Facebook.  Please share my YouTube channel with your friends!  Toodles for now.  Daniel your luxury curator!
