This vintage brand is highly collectible and when I saw the label I almost coughed up my lunch. Paganne by Gene Berk is a brand that is known for their wild prints which is what I love about this brand. I love a good wild print any day of the week. This brand started in the early 60′s and Gene Berk designed for Oleg Cassini as well as Cole of California and even worked on a few movies. Gene Berk wasn’t a trained artist, he was a pre-law dropout, but when you see these patterns you wouldn’t have known that. His sketches inspired the fabric, then the fabric inspired the clothes… I could look at every Paganne print and never get tired of them. Everywomen needs a Paganne hanging inside her closet.
