This vintage 80′s Bill Blass color block dress has me over the moon and around Jupiter.  This dress looks amazingly gorgeous today, that’s the thing I truly love about finding vintage Bill Blass.  Ask anyone and they will tell you I never pass up the opportunity to collect another vintage Bill Blass dress from a thrift store.  NEVER.  Ok so here is the low down on Bill Blass.

Born in Indiana to a dressmaker and hardware salesman in 1922, Bill Blass studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City before serving in the army during WWII. Establishing himself with impeccable tailoring and a sporty, yet sophisticated aesthetic, Blass established is eponymous fashion house in 1970.

He found fans in Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Jackie Kennedy, Candice Bergen and Brooke Astor, among others. The designer passed away in 2002, but his brand and legacy lives on. His $10 million gift to the New York Library is still one of the most public acts of generosity.

This vintage Bill Blass will keep it “green” and chic.  I’m your luxury curator here asking you to please stop buying water plastic bottles.  Did you know that Americans throw away 2.5 million plastic bottles per hour, and only one out of four is recycled????  Well now you did!  Recycle, Reuse & Reduce.
