I just love seeing this old 70′s St John Knit label on a perfectly good vintage piece. There isn’t anything better than vintage 70′s St John because that’s when they really made quality knitwear, you really can’t say that about the brand today. When women come into my boutique - Doubletake Recycled Luxury Boutique- in Atlanta and want to consign vintage 70′s St John items I usually talk them into keeping them because the quality was superior and you can’t replace it. So yes I do love finding vintage St John in a thrift store. I also love finding vintage Dior but who wouldn’t ? I know I can’t think of a soul either ! I love seeing women wear long skirts case in point Victoria Beckham, she loves wearing her long skirts and I love seeing her wear them. They never go out of style. This vintage 70′s SJK tank and this 80′s Dior skirt look just as fresh as the day it came out from the womb.
