This is the very first piece from Tibi I have scored from thrifting and I think it’s a sleek one. Whatmakes writing a daily blog so much fun for me is times like this when Ihave found my first item by this brand that is carried in NeimanMarcus and Saks Fifth Avenue and gets to talk about it. Tibiis the brainchild of Amy Smilovic who grew up on a small island off thecoast of Geogia and in 1997 moved to Hong Kong with her husband. Sheis crazy for prints and color in unexpected combinations, she lovesluxury with an absolute ease about it – simple but utterly modern. Amyis passionate about surrounding herself with creative people and aninspiring environment and having a Soho, NYC locations doesn’t hurtmatters either.. I absolutely LOVE this quote from her “I lovefashion. I love beautiful things that are well made, with rich andluxurious fabrics. So I found this halter top byTibi that is striped with pink and green and is sexy and modern. Ialso found this long sleeve charcoal gray Lacosteever so soft cotton top. So once I had these 2 gorgeous tops in myhands I needed the perfect bottom and who else makes the perfect bottomother than Jil Sander? No one because in my opinion Jil Sanderis as close to a god as we could ever ask for on earth. These whitecotton capri pants have the coolest arched hem at the bottom of the legsthat only elevate these pants so high up in the stratosphere you onlyhurt your neck looking up….
