Hands down the most STYLISH part of thrifting is the recycled ‘green’ aspect of dressing up and being glam.  What I do is hunt for luxury and when I find it I buy it to blog about it , so I’m known in Atlanta as a ‘luxury curator’ and that’s fine by me.  It’s my true passion to try and rescue an item just sitting around in some thrift or clothing liquidation stores, estate sale, yard sale or even dark alley.  If it’s luxury I’m going to try and save it, it’ just my nature.  In the early 90′s I created artwork out of found discarded objects into human figures.  I would see a file of trash on the curb and just have to dig through it, and of course I was already armed and ready to jump into a dumpster at any given moment.  So it’s truly my nature to save and reuse items.  We live in a throw away society and I’m waging war to stop that no-nonsense.  Ok ok the blog, I found this modern simple chic green cotton Theory top and put it with this vintage 80′s Genny, made in Italy, black jacket with the goldest of gold big buttons….LOVE GENNY and not just because that’s the name of my kitty cat but because Genny is true luxury.  I found these hunter green, made in Italy,  Rebecca Moses wool stretch slacks and the entire ensemble began to sing to me.  Rebecca Moses is sold in Macy’s and  select Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus and so right there we know this lady knows how to design.   STYLE is one thing I love and I have never given a rat’s ass about where my STYLE comes from just as long as it does… Stop by my social media driven  boutique called doubletake in Atlanta and follow me on Twitter & Facebook and enjoy my YouTube channel.  Toodles for now.  Daniel your luxury curator!
