I love my balls, let me rephrase  that “I love my cedar balls”…. I’ll tell you why in a second.  I found this gorgeous Pringle of Scotland cashmere sweater in the thrift store that was priced at $3.99 but it was half off day so I got it for a whopping $2.00 and judging from the label it’s probably from the 50′s.  This sweater has no moth holes and given the age that’s a miracle in itself…  The reason there were no holes in the sweater is because when I picked it up it reeked of that moth ball smell but that didn’t stop me from buying it.   I’m grateful for whoever previously owned this sweater for doing what they could to fight off the moth attack of cashmere because without that I’m sure given the age of this sweater the moth would have used this sweater as a buffet!! So that’s why I love my cedar balls!  Today you don’t need to use those old fashion moth balls because you can use cedar balls, chips or blocks as well as using lavender or rosemary oils they too help ward off moth & silverfish.  Oh and yes that odor does come out of the clothes, it might take some time and several cleanings but it will dissipate….  Keep keeping it “green”.  I’m your luxury curator!
