My partner Mitch gets dragged to a lot of thrift stores and while I’m hunting he usually sits down and plays online poker. We were at Goodwill and after I looked at hundreds of dresses, blouses & skirts only found this black short & sexy Tara Jarmon skirt. I grabbed Mitch and as we were waiting in the checkout line right next to Mitch’s elbow was this wadded up sequined top not even on a hanger. Mitch grabbed it and said “do you know this label??????” I died right there… Do I know Ports 1961 I said “are the Kardashianmedia whores?” Hell yes I know Ports 1961 label and so I whipped out my iPhone and Googled it and showed him that this Ports 1961 sequin top retailed for $750. This is the beautiful thing about thrifting because you never know where things hidden or stashed in thrift stores and Mitch just happened to find it wadded up sitting on top of the rack near the counter. So as I paid for the Ports 1961 sequin top and Tara Jarmon skirt ($10) I just laughed all the way to the car. After being with Mitch now for 11 years you would think by now he would recognize some of these labels but no…. Be STYLISH and keep keeping it green. Daniel your luxury curator!
