Parsons table was a bargain for $10.00

I noticed this white Parsons table outside the thrift store, turned it over to see if there was a label underneath and there wasn’t, and for $10 I had to buy it.  Every time I see a Parsons table I always pray to the GODS that its a design piece from Karl Springer, Edward Wormley for Dunbar or yes Milo Baughman.  The Parsons Table was designed by Jean-Michel Frank in the 1930′s and still look amazing today.  Parsons tables are often intended for use as modern or contemporary furniture, and their striking design has made them popular as coffee tables, dining tables, side tables, and occasional tables.  These tables look STYLISH amongst French antiques because of the clean simple lines.  I purchased this table first of all not knowing if it would even fit in my car but my motto is “buy first -ask questions later”….  It just so happened it did fit nicely in my small car with ease but I knew somehow that I was going to get this $10 Parsons table in my car and back home with me.  I think if there would have been a Karl Springer label underneath the table I would have passed out on the spot.  They are out there – you just have to find them which requires a bit of a search but adventure is always the call of the day in my house… Be STYLISH go green.  Daniel your luxury curator!
