I’ve never found an Anne Fontaine piece in a thrift store until now. Anne Fontaine was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. At a young age she developed a passion for the protection of the environment and took off on an adventure across Brazil. I love that about her!!! French on her father’s side, her roots eventually lead her back to France, and it was in Monaco that she would pursue her environmentalist initiatives with an organization working for the protection of whales. Shortly thereafter she would meet her husband, with whom she would “get into fashion”beginning in 1993. What began as a collection of white shirts has grown into a lifeSTYLE brand. Anne Fontaine opened her first store in the Rive Gauche section of Paris in 1994. The rest is history…. This white blouse would rock in some skinny jeans and Stella McCartney clog sandals…..
