Mid century Scandinavian chair….

Years ago I dragged my partner Mitch up early one Saturday morning to hit an estate sale and this is what I scored.  The chair was made in Norway in the 60′s so what’s there not to like about it?  I love collecting vintage Scandinavian designs and if you look for them they will show up, you just have to educate yourself on what to look for.  I’ve furnished an entire house with fabulous mid century pieces of furniture, lighting, artwork, kitchen cookware and pottery all from thrift stores, yard sales, estate sales and flea markets.  I’ve never understood the speed in which people decorate their homes, it’s like microwave warped speed and why?  I say take your time and hunt for what you need the good old second hand way…. Why live in a house that is decorated like everyone else when by using your own creative juices you can give your pad your own spin.  Thinking outside the box isn’t fearful -it’s exhilarating.  Be STYLISH go green.

PS That’s Miss Jenny on the chair, she knows STYLE when she sits on it…..
