This ensemble is all about luxury from the Louis Feraud dress down to the YSL pumps, it’s luxury at its finest.  I never pass up the opportunity to salvage a piece of Louis Feraud when I’m thrifting, never !  It’s a great label that was huge in the 50′s – 70′s and when you go to their website today the last collection it shows is Fall 2011 but not Spring 2012.  His first collection was in 1958 and Louis Feraud was known for his bold, cheerful lines of women’s & men’s clothing.  He found instant fame in the 50′s, when Brigitte Bardot, Kim Novak & Ingrid Bergman began wearing his dresses.  He died in 1999 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 79.  He was a brilliant designer and one that I will always pay homage to when I’m lucky enough to find a piece of his past in a thrift store.  So I’m carrying around this vintage linen Feraud dress and would you believe my luck when I tell you that I found these vintage red suede YSL pumps  too?  Both items are vintage and both items are extremely STYLISH and timeless.  These YSL pumps have several more decades to go and so does this line Feraud dress but that’s exactly what you would expect from these master visionaries.  Stop by Doubletake when you’re in Atlanta and be STYLISH go green.  Daniel your luxury curator!
