I think velvet might just be the new “black” or is that the new “pink” who can remember???  This is my second item I have recently found in  a thrift store and believe me I’m happy as happy can be.  Who doesn’t love velvet especially when the label says Karl Lagerfeld???  I can’t think of a single living being on this planet that wouldn’t be pleased as punch to find Lagerfeld.  Yes I love Louis Feraud otherwise I wouldn’t snatch it up every time I see it in the thrift stores, it’s a French classic brand and one that I’m very fond of.  As far as Karl Lagerfeld no one has proven to me that this man sleeps, I mean he is always on the move and for a man in his 70′s he’s showing no signs of letting up and why should he?  Did you know that in 1955 he designed a coat for a contest and came in second place, behind Yves Saint Laurent.  His coat was produced by Pierre Balmain and he became the designer’s assistant at the age of 17.  He was 17 and the assistant to Balmain, I think when I was 17 I was to busy playing with myself!!  This man just doesn’t stop and has the confidence of 10,000 Generals.  I love this ensemble of the Feraud blouse and Lagerfeld skirt, it’s looks amazing today as when it was conceived….  Style is style no matter what guys…  Be STYLISH go green.  Daniel your luxury curator!
