This would be my first Zandra Rhodes item I’ve found so that sound you just heard was my cherry going pop!  I love this silk 70′s dress with an elastic waistband and pockets by one of England’s finest fashion designers.  The price tag of $400 is what Henri Bendel sold it for when they used to have a vintage luxury boutique inside their store.  I love this quote from Zandra Rhodes “I am tired of good taste, I want to do everything wrong and get a result that is of value and valid as well.”  While

I loved finding the Sarah Pacini piece but when I found the Shamask piece good god almighty I thought I had won the power ball.  Sarah Pacini launched over 20 years ago in Belgium, and has since become an international brand.  I have to say whenever I read about a designer from Belgium I get electrified.  The Belgians know all there is to know about fabric, construction & draping.  This Sarah Pacini piece is heavenly.  Now what is out of this world is this Shamask jacket.  Ronaldus Shamask was b

I’m always telling people you have to look everywhere and sometimes even under a rock to find a vintage treasure.  As you know I look everywhere for my pieces: thrift stores, consignment shops, flea markets, yard sales, estate sales, clothing outlet places and even online.  I saw this vintage Pierre Balmain online at Etsy and no it wasn’t what I normally pay for my pieces but sometimes you have to go outside your sand box.  I loved the geometric pattern the second my eyes saw it and of course th

I think somewhere back at the thrift store is where I left my jaw.  When I saw the Chloe label I had to do a DOUBLETAKE.  I have found Chloe in the past but it’s truly a rare event but it was my lucky day.  Chloe is a high quality ready to wear company that was started in France in 1952 by Jacques Lenoir & Gaby Aghion.  The fashions are simple fluid and elegant lingerie style in pastel colors.  Karl Lagerfeld designed for them from 1965 to 1983.  Martin Sitbon was there from 1987 to 1991.  Then
