I think somewhere back at the thrift store is where I left my jaw. When I saw the Chloe label I had to do a DOUBLETAKE. I have found Chloe in the past but it’s truly a rare event but it was my lucky day. Chloe is a high quality ready to wear company that was started in France in 1952 by Jacques Lenoir & Gaby Aghion. The fashions are simple fluid and elegant lingerie style in pastel colors. Karl Lagerfeld designed for them from 1965 to 1983. Martin Sitbon was there from 1987 to 1991. Then again in 1992 Karl Lagerfeld headed the design team. In 1997 Stella McCartney was bought in as head designer. Clare Waight Keller heads the creative force at Chloe today…. This simple brown blouse is over the top hot. Now these striped Akris slacks are equally hot. Albert Kriemler has spearheaded fashion design at Akris for over 30 years. Akris was started by his grandmother in St Gallen Switzerland back in 1922. When you think of Swiss made you immediately think of Akris or I do nonetheless.
