Carry Me Please is excited to be importing a new collection of bags from emerging designer

Kiki Ito. Kiki lives in London and has recently launched her own collection of elegant, classy clutch bags. She uses only the highest quality of leathers and materials available. The Koro Obi (limited edition) clutch bag is designed from gorgeous vintage Obi Kimono fabrics. One Obi will make about 7 bags keeping them extremely limited.

Kiki was recently interviewed by La Geneve North and had this to say about her collection.

La Geneve North - How would you describe your collection?
Kiki Ito - My launch collection is a unique collection of beautifully designed and impeccably detailed clutch bags that draw on my Japanese origins and international life experiences. My design influences draw from many places but my style could be best described as a fusion of East and West. For example my favourite period in Japanese history is called the Meiji Period (1868-1912) which was best known for when Japan embraced the West and a fusion of different worlds began. Fashion, architecture, design and contemporary culture, both from the East and the West, are all starting points for my inspiration. But I think it is the way I translate these with Japanese qualities such as balance, simplicity, quality, and joy of use that sets my work apart.

Carry Me Please is looking forward to working with Kiki and carrying the stunning Kiki-London collection.
