This simple LBD by Katayone Adeli is beyond chic it’s downright sinful.  From 1997 until 2003, the Katayone Adeli label was synonymous with flattering, well fitting pants.  These wardrobe basics, along with pieces like slim-fitting leather jacket and quiet, feminine chiffon dress, earned the brand a cult following.  The clothes were available in stores like Barney’s New York and Harvey Nichols and then something went wrong.  In 2003 her business became to popular to keep up, that her still-fledgling company was unable to meet heightened production demands without sacrificing quality.   The designer shut down the label in 2003 and her partner Sean Barron left the company to start the label Joie.  The construction of her work is timeless and this LBD will last till eternity because the lines and design are both classic.  I’ve always heard that people who bought Katayone Adeli’s pieces were loyal followers and lovers of this brand.  I found these white leather Prada slip ons that look fabulously STYLISH with this LBD….  Stop by Doubletake my social media driven boutique in Atlanta.  Toodles for now.   Daniel your luxury curator!
