This posting is how 2 different tops look really chic with this pleated navy skirt made inParis. This first top is this white cotton with spandex by Gene Meyerand I rarely find this label inside a thrift store but today I wastraveling with Lady Luck. Gene Meyer had his own line of clothing formany years until he teamed up with his brother Doug. They opened uptheir design studio in 2004 after a lifetime of personal andprofessional admiration inspired them to work together. They arenatives from Kentucky that moved to New York and gained a reputationalong with loyal customers for a unique range of products from rugs tofabrics to tiles, furniture, accessories as well as fashion and interiordesign projects. Known collectively and individually as mastercolorist, each brother brings his singular perspective and visualreferences to each product and design produced by the studio. For me Iknow this label because of his gorgeous ties he designs and I know howcollectible they are. The other top is this red silk with beading andvelvet trim blouse by Hale Bob. It’s always a treat to find Hale Boband this gorgeous top is breathtakingly gorgeous. I put both tops withthis French pleated navy skirt because both tops bring a completelydifferent look and feel to the arena. I love this pleated skirt made inParis, its a classic skirt. Simple and tasteful designs always remaintimeless and cost effective since you don’t always have to discard theitem.
