A woman wearing this ensemble would be on high alert with the Secret Fashion Service (SFS).  This is a very timeless and simple black dress by Vivienne Tam but it’s so effective in getting the message out that the SFS is concerned!  I’m always amazed to see Vivienne Tam’s collection because I consider her a true voice of STYLE and grace.  Tam’s spring 2011 collection was like taking a trip down the Silk Road, from China across India to Persia.  To me when a designer reaches across the borders to embrace the global mix I will pay my respects to their vision.   I found these killer Halston heels that totally work with this dress and by now you know I love my Halston.  I love this quote from Lisa Belkin The New York Times “Halston had the strongest influence in fashion early in the decade, when he help bury the wild, anti-establishment look of the 60′s, with its gypsy colors, fringed leathers and tie-dyed fabrics.  He introduced the more sober clothes that women were ready for.”  Halston was a brilliant designer and when I see his vintage pieces in the thrift stores I consider myself  lucky.  If you need to feel lucky head down to doubletake my social media driven boutique in Atlanta and follow me on Twitter & Facebook.  Please enjoy my YouTube channel too.  Toodles for now.  Daniel your luxury curator!
