I consider myself pretty lucky when it comes to a lot of things but finding this mint condition Ports 1961 black top & this vintage linen Valentino skirt at the thrift stores, well I consider that a gift from the GODS…. There isn’t one thing I don’t like about this Ports 1961 black top, just check out the photo of the backside and you’ll know what I mean.  In 2004, under the Canadian sportswear lable Ports International’s umbrella, North African-born, Vancouver-bred designer Tia Cibani launched Ports 1961, a women’s ready-to-wear line full of classic, strutted pieces, with a romantic and sometimes ethnic twist.  You just want to eat everything Ports 1961 creates.  What more can anyone say about Valentino?  I mean finding Valentino in a thrift store is equivalent to winning the lottery.  This is your classic linen skirt, made by Italy’s premier fashion designers which means it’s never going out of style.  It’s timeless as the day is long….  If you’re not wearing vintage you’re going to get left behind in the dust and trust me that’s not attractive.   I’m Daniel Troppy your luxury curator!
