You know I LOVE and adore Jil Sander what is there not to LOVE about this label but finding Matthew Williamson blew me out of the water. I’ve never found this label until now, so technically I’m no longer a virgin when it comes to this label. I’ve read and seem so much about Matthew Williamson over the years and always hoped I would find something while thrifting, well I guess the GODS wanted to throw me a bone. Matthew Williamson was born in Manchester England and graduated from Central Saint Martins with a BA in fashion design & printed textiles. He stated his company in 1997 and while he was working on his own collection he was also creative director at Emilio Pucci but decided to return to London to work full time on his own collection. Matthew Williamsonis world renowned for his highly recognizable signature aesthetic: a mater of print, embellishment, attention to detail and kaleidoscope colors. Matthew’s collections encapsulate a bohemian spirit and a laid back sense of glamour. So finding this pink leather MW skirt just made finding this blue Jil Sander top beyond rewarding. Keep it “green” my friends so please recycle, reuse and reduce your waste. I’m your luxury curator!
