When my eyes first spotted this jacket I have to say I thought it could be Thierry Mugler.  I wasn’t disappointed to say the least because I’ve been wanting to do a blog post on Linda Loudermilk for some time now.  She was a visionary couture & eco high fashion designer and was named by “W” Magazine as a fashion designer to watch and she was once coined the “Vivienne Westwood of Eco” by Elle Magazine.  She used vegan silk – harvesting silk without killing the silkworm, her cottons were organic and she used dyes that weren’t toxic.  Her entire thought process was one with Mother Nature in mind and I’m sorry to say that her last collection was Spring 2011.  When I look at the beauty of this well constructed jacket I can’t help but to think “what happened”….  Why isn’t this fashion designer still in production?  We need all the fashion designers with this mentality to produce fashion that has a soul….  I don’t know what you’re doing Linda Loudermilk but I sure hope you are planning  something grand…  Love this jacket and I love it with this classic Escada skirt.  It looks regal, sophisticated and very modern what more can you ask for?  I’m Daniel Troppy your luxury curator!
