I don’t know why I’ve always had such a passion about luxury vintage but I have now for 32 years… I’ve never been able to really put my finger on why I love & appreciate vintage so much, I mean I have several reasons but not just one in particular… When you see this Donald Brooks vintage 70s black dress with white trim it is stunning and yes it’s a show stopper to say the least. I’ve always loved vintage really because I believe its the best waynot to be copied…. When I see people wearing vintage my heart skips a beat and I’m happy that they understand and appreciate quality. Today when manufactures make pants, tops, shoes etc etc from Old Navy, H&M, Zara, Gap etc etc they really don’t the intention of designing a product with duration in mind. We live in such a throw away society that even our clothing today and it’s shocking to me. The amount of waste for these items are staggering and to think they are designed with an expiration in mind doesn’t sit well with me. That’s really why I love vintage… There isn’t anything in any mall in America that can outshine this Donald Brooks 70s dress. NOTHING…. I’m Daniel Troppy your luxury vintage curator!
