I just finished looking at the new Fendi collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld and he was showing lots oflong skirts and long dresses which makes blogging about this longturquoise skirt by Les Copains so in vogue. When I saw the Les Copainslabel I got very excited because it isn’t every day you find this luxurybrand inside a thrift store. Les Copainsis one of the most well knows and reliable names in ready to wearfashion in Italy and throughout the world. The brand name was createdin the late 50′s and takes its name from the title of a popular Frenchradio show, “Salut Les Copains”. Since its founding, Les Copains hasalways been considered a symbol of the ‘made in Italy’ tradition interms of creativity, industrial technique and quality. I love theturquoise color of this long cotton skirt and when I found the DKNYgray camisole I knew instantly that I would combine these 2 brands into1 super ensemble. From morning all the way through daytime wearingthis outfit looks casual chic and what I love is when evening rollsaround and you need a jacket for whatever occasion this navy wool Lafayette 148New York jacket is the answer. I love this color palette, the gray topwith the turquoise bottom and the anchor that unites this ensemble isthe navy jacket. Turquoise and navy are near each other on the colorwheel and of course gray is neutral so everything is nice and safe.Sometimes playing it safe is the STYLISH solution….
