I’m going to try to keep this a normal post of about 130-150 words but trust me it won’t be easy. I found this vintage Bill Blass 70s silk paw print blouse and freaked because I love vintage Blass. I needed the perfect bottom for this blouse when Nancy and I went shopping and she found these Claude Montana suede 80s pants and then handed them to me…. Yes that’s right she found these gorgeous vintage Claude Montana suede pants and then said “I want you to have these…” I was speechless and believe me that doesn’t happen very often. I’m a HUGEEEEEE fan of Montana and believe me you just don’t find this French label everyday in a second hand store. His power women with padded shoulders and sculpted silhouettes marked the 80s as well as influenced Alexander McQueen, Riccardo Tisci, Olivier Theyskens and other talents of the next generation. Claude Montana as well as Thierry Mugler were always two of my favorite French designers because they were visionaries in fashion. Damn it I’m trying to to keep this short but it’s so hard when you love someone like Montana as much as I do…. Thank you Nancy. I’m Daniel Troppy your luxury curator!
