I’ve had the great pleasure of knowing HollyBeth, founder of HollyBeth Organics Skincare, for several years and have always wanted to interview her about her collection of Hermes scarves.  It’s true I use just about every HollyBeth Organic product but my go to and MUST have item is always the Hair & Body Silk.   I use it from head to toe but most importantly I use it as a pre-shave oil.  One of the most underrated products in a man’s shaving routine is a good pre-shave oil and there isn’t any thing better than Hair & Body Silk… Having said all that, for years I’ve seen HollyBeth wear Hermes scarf daily and was intrigued by her collection so here goes our conversation…

Q: Tell us what you used to do and where all you have lived please.

A:  International business development – outside the US: Japan, Mexico, France, Spain, Colombia, travelled to over 50 countries i.e. I only count countries that I have been in for over 7 days.

Q: How many Hermes scarves do you own?

A:  Now – at least 30…

Q: I know you lived in Paris for many years is this when your collection of Hermes began?

A:  Yes, I bought my first one there on my first trip to Paris eons ago.

Q: Do you remember your first Hermes scarf and where did you get it?

A:  I think I got it at Galeries Lafayette but I am not really sure….. isn’t that sad??

Q: What catches your eye when you are hunting for a new scarf?  Is it pattern?  Is it fabric?  Please tell us…

A:  Color and design, fabric only silk or cotton or combination of silk/cashmere.

Q:  Some Hermes scarves have such beautiful floral prints and your line of organic skincare products all stem from botanical properties so there really is an internal passion that connects you.  Your thoughts???

A:  I definitely gravitate to birds, feather and flowers and of course anything blue…  It’s the collection to the planet Earth & Mother Nature that speaks to me and so when I wear a scarf daily it reminds me of that connection.

Thank you HollyBeth for your time and for sharing your exquisite Hermes scarves with us.
