Designer frames have never been more diverse in style and beloved by fashion designers and celebs as they are today. For a little four-eyes inspiration, here’s a look at how 5 of our favorite celebs wear their glasses, and how you can incorporate a little of their signature style into your own look.

1. Jenna Lyons

Jenna Lyons, President and Creative Director at J. Crew, looks sleek, sophisticated, and a little bit quirky in her signature oversized glasses. To mimic her look, choose a large, square-shaped frame with rounded corners in basic black. These not-too-boxy, not-too-round specs work with any face shape and are particularly great at highlighting your pretty cheekbones. Complete the look with a swipe of bright red lipstick and a straight and simple hairstyle, and you’ve got Jenna Lyons’ look down pat.

2. Jennifer Aniston

It may come as no surprise that America’s sweetheart looks divine in a pair of glasses, and her classic tortoiseshell specs really highlight her girl-next-door appeal. Her frames tend to be more square and angular in shape, with thin plastic frames in shades of black and brown. Classic, sophisticated, and fuss-free, Jen’s glasses compliment her face and blend in with her overall look without calling too much attention to themselves. To mimic her style, pair your simple tortoiseshell frames with a slightly messy 'do, a little nude lipstick, and a killer smile.

3. Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake is another celeb getting in on the nerdy chic look. His glasses tend to be narrow and rectangular in shape, and he prefers thicker plastic frames in basic black. This is a great look for any guy who wants to add a little more style and sophistication to his appearance without going too over-the-top. Justin’s glasses help lend a little intellectual flair to his outfits, and when paired with a great suit and some sexy stubble, you’ll have the ladies swooning, too.

4. Katy Perry

It should come as no surprise that Katy Perry’s eyeglass game is big, bold, and totally over-the-top. This starlet has been seen in a wide variety of frames, but it's her cat’s eyes glasses we truly adore. Katy’s cat’s eyes feature sharp peaks at the temples, with deep angles on the tops and sides of the frame. All these angles create a more narrow-looking face and really call attention to the apples of the cheeks. For more of Katy’s retro flair, curl your bangs, swipe some pink blush on your cheeks, and go for a bright red lip. Totally glam and flirty, incorporating a little Katy into your look won’t help but make you smile.

5. Shia Labeouf

One of the hottest trends in the past few years are plastic glasses in clear or barely-there tints, and Shia Labeouf works this look to perfection. His frames are boxy but not too large, and the soft tan shade almost blends in with his skin tone. This creates a really effect look that’s a little bit retro without being costume-y, and it’s a great style for guys who don’t want their glasses to overpower their faces. Complete the look with slightly messy hair and some 5 O’clock shadow — couldn’t be easier, right?

Stars, they’re just like us! Okay, maybe not so much — but at least their chic glasses-style is easy for anyone to mimic.
