  • Thanks Apparel1 for the clarity on that, I do plan on being with etsy for a long time as I have fewer skills or time for making a separate website.

I don't know if you have a limit for a company description, but here it is.
'Dancing Jems is a company that showcases the jewelry designs of Brenda Senechal. I have a great love for bright color, bold statements, the elegant beauty of the simple and the combination of colors, textures and shape. The endless possibilities of any or all of these are continuously driving my creativity. In the end I wish to capture something that delights the wearer and becomes a favorite treasured piece.'

    Thanks again!

  • Thanks! I've joined!
  • I don't do the work for the virtual world that I create/develop the clothing within. They provide all residents/citizens with a base avatar and allow you to modify the shape of that avatar (face, height, width, muscle tone, etc.). All the content created in this world is by the residents. There is a HUGE fashion industry within it and they would totally gobble up anything that relates to fashion up like cotton candy. The clothing and items I make the residents themselves pay me to create or go to my virtual store (yes believe it or not) and buy the items just like if we went to a store in our real lives. I make enough to support my evil habit of playing in that virtual world. The advantage is that my graphic skills have improved dramatically and my drawing skills improved which takes me steps closer to designing items in the real world. That is my next step.
  • Thank you so much! I've finally come to the conclusion that even if I don't find a job doing this professionally, it really does't matter. This is something that I love and am passionate about, and I know I'll be doing it for the rest of my life.

Thanks so much for the feedback; it's just so nice to hear from someone in the industry!
