Paris Couture Week kicked off last night and it all started with Donatella Versace's signature tribute to The Goddess. Atelier Versace Spring Summer 2014 Couture collection was breath taking. Lady Gaga is currently the face of Versace's ad campaign so it was not surprise to see her make her grand entrance at the show wearing a black hooded gown from next season's collection. Is this the latest fashion trend?
Grace Jones the Jamaican singer, actress and model was noted to be the official muse for the collection. Donatalle Versace unleashed a fabulous collection that there is no doubt we will see on the red carpet at some point this year! Versace has dressed more stars than any other designer, with the possible exception of Armani. Armani's couture show is on schedule for Tuesday night, one you don't want to miss!
Versace stuck to what she does best, pushing a few boundaries but yet reveling the glamor and sensual side of the woman. She gave a little sneak peak of her thoughts before the show, "I love to combine the traditions of couture with the daring of contemporary life. I like a woman to look controlled and elegant, but also for her to have a provocative attitude".
Truth be told she did just that! The floor length silk jersey dresses were brilliantly designed to give that confident and sexy woman an edge. Some flashy but not too flashy. Many of the dresses included the Gaga-esque hoods. However, Versace said, that is where she had taken that idea from the Grace Jones's style manual.
Daring, some might think, with plunging necklines, slashes, and even some with semi-transparent fabric. Versace knows how to get attention! All of the dresses were designed to show the curve of a woman. She revealed many colors and many different cuts and styles. Check out some of our favorites below!

"The elegance and power of the contemporary goddess.
A juxtaposition of glamour and mystery, with cinched-in poise meeting the fluidity and provocation of Grace Jones.
Different ways with draping: sculpted and controlled to highlight the lines of sleek tailoring, or liberated and sensual for fluid silk jersey dresses." Versace
Which ones are your favorite? Can you see these on the Red Carpet this year?
