I heard from so many people out there that this week was the week for Spring cleaning.  Cleaning out the closets means ample supplies of new clothes at the thrift stores!!!!    YEAH….  Yes I’m so happy that so many of you just cleaned out your closets and donated to Goodwill or Salvation Army.  You guys rock!  I say donate your unwanted clothes and make room for truly fabulous vintage luxury items you find at yard sales, thrift stores, estate sales or consignment stores….  It’s time to be picky about your clothes!  There is hope out there because just look at all the treasures I found this week ….. I scored a sexy Josie by Natoridress, a gorgeous Rene Lezard dressy top & a Rene Lezard sporty comfy top, one sexy Dolce & Gabbana dress, a 70′s St John dress, a Donna Karen top made in Italy and finally a gorgeous black jacket by Bally…  Then my new experienced thrifter Joseph continued to blow me away with all this luxury items he has found : DiorBurberryLagerfeldLacoste,YvesSaintLaurent, Ungaro & finally a Burberry trench coat!  

If you have really great pieces of clothing, jewelry or design items such as furniture or lighting that is over the top luxury and mid century modern fabulous please snap some pics and write me a brief story and I will publish it on The Thrifters blog…..  I’m waiting for that person that has a closet full of vintage Paco Rabanne, Courreges, Lanvin or 60′s Pierre Cardin or even a living room filled with Eames, Knoll, Ponti, Platner, Evans, Rohe or McCobb please let me hear from you…  You are helping me spread my ‘green’ message…  Daniel
