One of the best things about New York is the variety it offers. A simple journey to the deli can be unimaginably exciting. You might stumble upon a TV pilot being shot (Soho), a homeless bum singing opera (Canal Street), or your favorite celebrity walking along wearing a large hat and sunglasses, trying to go unnoticed (Tribeca). And something that does not go unnoticed—at least with me—is the way we New Yorkers feed off each others’ energy.
