Submissions 

Platinum Style Magazine is always looking to feature the work of New York’s fashion and entertainment industries. We would like to extend an invitation to all new contributors for art, photography, clothing/shoe/accessory designers, wardrobe stylists, makeup artists, hairstylists and music/entertainment artists. If you own or work at a restaurant, art gallery or clothing boutique and would like Platinum Style Magazine to profile you or your company, please send us detailed information about you or your establishment for review. All work or images submitted for review must be copyright holder’s work. Inclusion in Platinum Style Magazine could consist with inclusion in print publication, website publication or both.

DEADLINES

Deadline for the quarterly issue will be posted. Please check back.

REQUIREMENTS

• All images must be sent to submit@platinumstylemag.com by the issue deadline.
• Email submissions with the description of your work and your contact information.
• Attach low resolution (600 x 600 pixels) photos to each email separately. Please, do not send zip files. If files are zipped, they will automatically be deleted.
• For visual artists and photographers, please include photo story imagery. If not, provide several photos outlining you work.
• Include contributor’s information (credits) - photographer, model & agency, hair stylist, makeup artist, and wardrobe stylist.
• Clothing featured in your shoot, along with the designer and brand name.
• Be sure to include the title of your photo shoot theme. If you don’t include a title, we will provide one for you.
• Fashion theme stories: do not submit images with the model wearing the same outfit.
• Beauty theme stories: model should have different hair and makeup styling.
• Absolutely No Nudity.

SELECTION PROCESS

We will only contact the contributor whose work we are interested in using in our publication or website. The receipt of your submission does not guarantee its inclusion.

Platinum Style Magazine reserves the right to select all, some, or none of your submitted images for publishing in the magazine or website.

TERMS OF SUBMISSION

By allowing Platinum Style Magazine to publish your work, you (the photographer or artist) retain full copyright of the submitted images, but grant us exclusive publishing rights for a minimum of 12 consecutive months, following the initial publication date. During this time period, the images supplied through the submission process can only be published for your own promotion – your website, blog, portfolio, cards, etc. If published through any other sources, including social media (facebook, twitter, model mayhem, tumblr, and pinterest) the images should be credited to Platinum Style Magazine. After the aforementioned 12-month period, Platinum Style Magazine will retain non-exclusive publishing, promotion, usage and licensing rights, across all forms of print and online media used in the creation, dissemination, and monetization of Platinum Style Magazine content.
