If ever there was a place to pick up a trend, it would be the CFDAs, and last night's event certainly didn't disappoint. Block colors were the order of the day, with every top model and designer worth their fashion cred working a bold, bright hue. Orange was a particular favorite, teamed with purple by Jessica Alba in her Diane von Furstenberg gown. Designer Lubov Azria and model Zuzanna Bijoch went for the same color. But that was no where it ended. Chanel Iman dazzled in turquoise blue.

Doutzen Kroes looked ravishing in scarlet .Leigh Lezark showcased her new blunt bangs wearing a Helmut Lang halter dress with a thigh-high split and pulled off a challenging mustard shade. French-Tunisian model Kenza Fourati could have worn her bright blue Marc Bouwer to such great effect.

Emmanuelle Chriqui looked stunning wearing a vibrant yellow David Meister with a Chiffon train. Alessandra was unbelievably breath-taking in her Prabal Gurung Fall 2011 gown. She blew everyone out of the water at this event as she worked every seam in this amazing gown. Jason Wu also dressed his favorite model in red. Karlie’s jewels were more subtle and she added a black clutch and a black belt to her sophisticated look.
