No need to take a vacation to wear a piece from a designer resort collection. Gone are the days where the high-class jet setters and socialites hopping on a plane to St. Tropez are the only ones to sport the “cruise” collections, says The New York Times. The reality is, customers now want to shop and wear their clothes whenever and wherever they desire. According the article, a resort collection, also known as a “pre-season”, should now be called “Early Spring/Summer” instead. Does that clear everything up for you? No, well you’re not alone.
