Shoes Shoes and more Shoes

Ever since I was a little girl, I've absolutely loved shoes- but I'm getting increasingly disillusioned about purchasing on the high-street. As my student budget means Chanel or Christian Loboutin are out of reach, the service offered in high street stores is terrible.

Long waiting times for a pair of shoes only to be told, we don't have it in your size is increasingly frustrating. Disinterested shop assistants add to the unpleasant mix. A case in point is one seemed genuinely surprised I wouldn't buy her white satin shoes although they had a dirty mark down them. The fact they were bridesmaid shoes where over 100 people would be watching seemed in her eyes irrelevant.

Then you reach the promised land and they have your size.  No seating area or little room means a penguin hop as you search for the nearest mirror.

The solution Ladies and Gentlemen! I visited Cloggs online siteafter a recommendation from a friend. I ordered two pairs and they came with free next day delivery. I could try them on in my room, on a chair with no disinterested sales assistant or a mad hunt for a mirror. Taking my time without the pressure of a hassled shop assistant breathing over me to see if they genuinely fitted and weren't going to give me blisters. One pair was perfect one was too small. The free returns meant I could send them back with ease, order a bigger size. I lost nothing other than a walk to the post box and retention of my sanity.
