The hugely popular ‘Diamond’ singer, Rihanna has been a fan of London fashion for many years, and is not shy about showing it by being pictured wearing both Boy London and Palace sweaters. Now Rihanna is planning on making her own stamp on the London Fashion scene by collaborating with high street retailer River Island on a new clothing line for the store. The line will be hugely inspired by the UK fashion scene.
The first unveiling of RiRi’s new River Island Collection will be with a catwalk show during London Fashion Week on Saturday February 16th 2013.
Rihanna said:
“Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me. I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the great design talent at LFW is a real privilege.”
There is no doubt that there will be girls screaming at this great news, and knowing that they will soon be able to get their hands on a design by Rihanna herself is mind blowing. The collection will be available in stores from March next year. The range has a chic sports-luxe vibe, very much like Rihanna's own personal sporty-meets-sexy style. Finally Girls Designer Clothes will just be fingertips away.
