My Designer Favourites of 2012

As 2012 comes to an end and 2013 comes to a start, I have put together an end of year style award focussing on the best fashion brands I have come across in 2012. Along with some of my favourites including Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen, there have been other designers which have caught my eye this year with their new collections.

Their exciting range of dresses are designed and produced in the UK by expert seamstresses trained in creating eye-catching looks. Jolaby clothing is proud to be different, with unique tailored designs and stunning prints that are designed to be noticed. By offering catwalk designs at affordable prices, it is not surprise that Jolaby clothing is the must have item of the moment.

MICHAEL KORS. The beloved American designer has been one of the most searched for designer this year. This could be highly due to the fact that huge celebrity names have been spotted wearing Michael Kors collection of watched. Fashion influences such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Michelle Obama and Jessica Biel have all been snapped wearing Kors this year. Michael Kors presence on Project Runway will have also gained him a larger audience.

BURBERRY. Burberry always manages to impress, year after year, and this year is no exception. This month alone they have created a huge buzz by making young Romeo Beckham their new fresh face. LOUIS VUITTON. Google has unveiled its most searched for terms in a number of categories, including fashion. It was found that in 2012 Louis Vuitton has claimed the top spot for the seventh year running. It has been named the most valuable luxury brand and it is easy to see why. Unlike some luxury brands, though, Louis Vuitton also has mass appeal: its monogram is one of the most recognized in the world, and its beloved artistic director, Marc Jacobs, has introduced ready-to-wear clothing, accessories and artist collaborations to a company that had been best known for its leather bags and suitcases.

GIORGIO ARMANI. Armani has been a fashion regular on the red carpet of Hollywood’s A-Listers, but this year Giorgio Armani has branched out into creating for the music business too. Armani collaborated with super starts such a Lady GaGa to create stunning outfits for the signers “Born This Way” tour, and he even worked with Rihanna on the gorgeous and sexy black number she wore at the 54th annual Grammy Awards in February this year.
